Shopping safely at Haddo Highland Wear - COVID update

To ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues we have put the following measures in place to adhere with Govenment guidance:

There is a strict limit of 2 people per appointment. We can offer sales, but all fittings will need be organised for a later date. If you are early for an appointment or we already have clients in the shop, please do not wait outside the shop - please wait in your car, we will come and let you know when we are available. We have a strict no smoking policy in or around the premises, including car park and ALL outside areas - please please don’t have us picking up cigarette butts. Hand sanitiser will be provided as you enter the shop - please feel free to use it. Payments by card or bank transfer preferred.If you are waiting to collect something and need it fitted you will be required to take the item home and try it on, and if there are any problems we ask you to take a video and send it to us. Alternatively if you aren’t in a rush you can wait until we can do this in the shop. If you have a hire or multiple hires booked we will be organising collections a day early so you can take the outfit home and try it on to ensure everything is as expected.

We are situated a short distance from Ellon and within easy reach of all north Aberdeenshire towns and villages. We are only 25 minutes from Aberdeen city centre. Based in a lovely area near the Haddo Estate with ample parking, allowing you to take your time and browse our products or discuss your highland wear requirements at your leisure.

We are always at hand for those emergency situations so if you are in the area and have suddenly outgrown your kilt please feel free to call the mobile number above and we will do our utmost to help.

From Ellon via Esslemont
Take the Road to Tarves and follow until you see the signpost for Auchedly and Ythanbank ( we also have a sign here ) take this turn and follow the road for approx. ¼ mile and we are on the left.

From Tarves
Take the road to Haddo House, reaching the junction for the estate entrance take a right and follow the road until you see the Auchedly/Tarves sign ( we also have a sign here ) take this turn and follow the road for approx. ¼ mile and we are on the left.

From Methlick
Take the road to Ellon and at Ythanbank take the road signposted Auchedly ( we have a sign here ). Come up the hill and we are on the right.

From Oldmeldrum/Inverurie
Follow the road past Meldrum House Hotel to Methlick and take the turn for Ellon at the new Formartines shop. Follow the signs for Haddo House and go straight past the entrance. Continue on this road until you see the sign for Auchedly/Ythanbank ( we have a sign here also ), take this turn and follow the road for approx. ¼ mile and we are on the left.
